About the Role
We are building a cutting-edge yield farming system powered by learning agents (AI/ML models) to optimize stablecoin yields in decentralized finance (DeFi). We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist to design, implement, and deploy the AI/ML components of the system.
You will work closely with the team to develop reinforcement learning (RL) and machine learning (ML) models for strategy optimization, risk management, and backtesting. Your work will directly impact the performance and scalability of our yield farming multi-learning-agent system.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Implement Learning Agents:
Develop reinforcement learning (RL) models for the Manager Agent to optimize yield farming strategies (e.g., deposit, harvest, rebalance).
Build machine learning (ML) models for the Analyst Agent to predict APY, identify high-yield opportunities, and assess risks.

2. Data Pipeline Development:
Collect and preprocess historical and real-time DeFi data (e.g., APY, liquidity, gas prices) from APIs like Morpho
Create datasets for training and testing ML/RL models.

3. Backtesting & Simulation:
Develop a backtesting framework to validate strategies using historical data.
Simulate yield farming strategies in a sandbox environment (e.g., Ethereum testnet).

4. Risk Management Integration
Collaborate with the team to integrate risk control mechanisms (e.g., stop-loss conditions, portfolio diversification) into the learning agents.
5. Deployment & Optimization
Deploy ML/RL models into production, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Optimize models for real-time decision-making in a blockchain environment.

6. Collaboration
Work closely with the full-stack engineer to integrate AI/ML components into the platform's front-end and back-end systems.

Qualifications
Required:
Strong experience in machine learning and reinforcement learning (e.g., RLlib, Stable Baselines3, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
In-depth understanding of TypeScript and LangChain, with experience in developing AI agents.
Proficient in Python and TypeScript, with expertise in data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Experience with DeFi protocols (e.g., Morpho, Aave, Curve, Convex) and blockchain data (e.g., Ethereum, smart contracts).
Familiarity with web3.py or ethers.js for interacting with blockchain networks.
Strong understanding of data pipelines and APIs for fetching real-time and historical data.

Experience deploying ML models in production (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of smart contract development (Solidity, Rust).
